How much does it cost?
Nothing, Zero, Zip, Zilch, Nada! For clubs, sign up is free for the whole season! How does this work? Well, depending on your type of club gaming license the players will pay a registration fee to play at the venue. This is either a fee of £1 or £3 each on the licence. The players pay this participation fee to be able to play for higher stake games in clubs, which they are unable to do in a pub.Simply collect the participation fee money from the venue manager on the night (number of players x £3 or £1), sign a receipt of acceptance and you will receive an invoice of the same amount to be paid online to us via bank transfer or paypal.Due to the free sign-up, clubs will need to source their own poker equipment. But no need to worry, you can buy equipment from us via our website, or simply contact your operations manager, alternatively you can source equipment yourself. As a member of Royal Flush Poker, like all other venues, you will still recieve 2 packs of playing cards, and your operations manager will have multiple packs of free replacement cards if needed in the case of damages, though these are in limited supply.
What are the benefits?
The main benefit of being a club which is a part of Royal Flush Poker is that sign up is completely free!Royal Flush Poker’s main aim is to increase the clientele at your venue. The average game we run lasts from approx. 8pm-close, we have structured the game to encourage players to stay at the venue as long as possible, and most will stay till the end of the night. The players that attend your venue to play Royal Flush Poker will also influence other events and special nights in your club as they will be informed and may be interested to attend. You will be assigned an operations manager on call who will be there to help with any issues or queries you may have. They are put into place to always give the venues a point of call and a local person on hand.We will advertise your poker night via social media as well as weekly text messaging services to all our players in your local area.
How can I make the most of the night?
Advertising: We will send out regular text messages to the players local to your venue each week, social media paid advertising and viewing of the venue on the website. We will issue all venues posters to place around your club for your customers to see and become interested. These are given at the start of the season, and are downloadable on our website once you log in as the landlord. Advertisement by word of mouth is advised so be sure to inform your customers about the poker night to get the word out there and increase the amount of players. Social media is a great way to get the word around and it's free. Make sure you speak to customers and ask them to share posts about your poker night!Table service: It is often difficult for players to leave the table during play to order a drink, though they may want one. Be sure to offer drinks to the players throughout the night to increase sales and decrease dry mouths!Incentives for players: Maybe you could offer a food or drinks voucher to the winning player on the night, a player who brings along a friend, the player with the best hand of the night or the winning player of the season? This would ensure they return to play the next week and will mean they come back to your venue to claim their prize, possibly with friends or family too.
