How do I join Royal Flush Poker League? The first time you play, your details will be taken and you be able to play at any venue. |
I’m not that confident about the rules of Texas Hold’em poker. No need to be concerned, there will be help and assistance at hand. Just let the Venue Manager know and they will get you playing in no time. |
How long does the games last? Poker generally starts at either 7:30pm or 8pm and will run until there is an overall winner around 11pm.

Can I come along and just watch the proceedings? Yes, of course you can but you will regret not playing as the night progresses. |
Will I have to deal? Each player takes turns to deal but if you are not confident another player may deal for you. Dealing is easy and players soon settle and deal when it’s their turn.

Who runs the tournaments? The Venue Manager will run the games. They will ensure that everyone who wants to play gets a game, settle any issues with hand ranking, table behaviour, and points allocation. |
How many people usually play? This varies from venue to venue. Some venues have up to 10 players whereas others have over 25 players.

Can I play at other venues? Yes. You can play at as many as you like.

Can I wear dark glasses to play? Anyone can wear dark glasses during play, as long as respect and politeness is upheld for all players. |
How are the points calculated on the night? You recieve points from the position you came on the night (varies depending on the amount of players there) aswell as points for each individual knockout. Check out our Royal Flush Poker Points Calculator found on the information page.

How do I get into the grand final? The top 10% (of the average amount of players each night) on the league board for each venue will automatically recieve a seat into the final. If you are not in the top 10% but have made it to the qualifier game, there is still a chance as the top 50% of players in the qualifier game will get a seat into the final. Royal Flush Poker have the right to remove players or add players to the final at our discretion if deemed fair and appropriate. |
How do I get into the qualifier final? To get into the qualifier final you will need to have played at least 10 games in the season at one venue.
